Marina is here on holiday and what does she want to do? Tidy up and get the place organised.
No really I mean it, thats what she LOVES doing. I said," here are the choices, Beach, out for lunch, down to Spain, shopping, read in the garden, swim in the river, Collioure, Carcassonne, Spain, Perps, walk round the vineyards." "Ooooo can we not stay in and sort out all these CDs and books and all this china, oh and move the oak sideboard and fix the dresser..." so we did. I kid you not.
Happy as a pig in sh*t, she was. Me I nearly had a breakdown. I had to have a vat of strong coffee. I did briefly consider smoking again but after 10 years, I went for the easier option of repeatedly banging my head against the wall. She didn't give in, Bloody teachers !
Tomorrowwe have to do more but I have a reward of dinner in Spain, so that I don't sulk. I'm not making any promises. I will probably be given a star chart to motivate me if I don't shape up.
