This is my favourite rock in my favourite spot on the far side of the river. It stays in the sun until it disappears behing the hill ( the sun not the rock..)However today's game was staying out of the sun as it was another 35 degree stinker... so we crept about in our cool village house until I went stir crazy at 6pm.
The locals come down to sit in the water in their plastic chairs when it gets above bidy heat.... I tried this see further pics....
Around 6 - 6:30 evryone leaves as it is THE LAW to eat at 7:30 in France so they all have to go and wash and cook.
Therefore for peace lovers like us it is the perfect time to be alone down at the river....
Pete still bans me from skinny dipping tho which I think is SO unfair... I have done it and its wonderful but Pete couldnt relax.... I don't know what the problem would be unless someone ran off with your clothes... frankly I wouldnt care....
