Alan and I popped into the Marie to see a small exhibition of Art and Ceramics. Alan is a good artist himself and we were both stunned to see how very similar the art was to Alan's own work which is very quirky and uses hand made paper ( by Alan) and a very light inky touch.. The ceramics were not to my taste. The view from the gallery was lovely I thought... here we have the Catalan flag alongside the others. Red and Yellow striped bunting, flags, table cloths etc predominate down here as a sign of the Catalan identity.
