Our weekly French lesson...

So far this is our weekly French lesson, as well as chatting to everyone we meet... we read our local "Weekly" newspaper. We may take some lessons but haven't organised anything yet.

This week we read that there will be a number of Fetes in the local villages and this weekend brings "La Rentree" the re entry to normal life when all of France take to the motorways and roads back home so that they can buy new pencil cases and lunch boxes and get organised for the new school term and back to workNote to self stay off the roads this weekend !!

I mentioned everyone rushing home to get the uniforms organised for the new term yesterday and a local fell about laughing...." Uniforms in France !" Nooooooooooooooo

What was I thinking... there is NOTHING uniform in France.

Alissa our Eldest Grand daughter starts school next week too.... I cannot believe she is starting school. She has only been here for 54 months ! It seems only moments to me but I know it feels like a long time when you are at home with a house full of children ;-)
